Yes, I know Mother’s Day in the UK happens in March. I freak out every year when the marketing hits the windows that I’ve forgotten to send home a card and something pretty to show my mom how much she’s appreciated. But American Mother’s Day – the one we celebrate – is this coming Sunday. So, I thought I’d put together a little gift guide for the day.
Here’s one of my favourite recent photos of my Mom and I – trying on glasses in Anthropologie in London:
And here’s a few gift ideas to help out those of you who are still shopping! If you need some more ideas, Diana also has a great Mother’s Day gift list over on exPress-o.
1. Vibrantly coloured Liberty iPad case; 2. Relaxing Lavender Foaming Bath from L’Occitatane; 3. A pretty Cuisine Couture Apron from Anthropologie; 4. Cedar Hanging Hearts for storage from The White Company; 5. An uplifting candle from Jo Malone. I like English Pear and Freesia; 6. A gothic cut bird feeder made by my dad from Sadler Garden Collections; 7. A summery Flower Bud Print Scarf from J. Crew; 8. A recipe book like What Katie Ate, full of beautiful photography and tasty meals; 9. A bright blue terracotta pot from Domani; 10. Little Observationist photography print to brighten up an empty wall

May 9, 2014 at 9:55 pmThat photo of you and your mum is so adorable. I love that Anthropologie apron, although I’m guessing it’s hideously expensive.
